Provides an opportunity for girls to experience a high adventure immersion into the life of elite women in the fire and police industry. Partnered with local emergency responders, 20 girls will experience firefighting and emergency operations mentored by female leaders.

About the event
SWLA Firefighter's Association is excited to announce Camp ResQ. Camp ResQ is an intense program designed for girls in 9th to 12th grade only to train alongside female firefighters and law enforcement personnel to learn firefighting, police, and EMS skills. The camp also teaches defensive tactics, involves physical activities, and develops investigative abilities. The cost is $150 which includes lunch.
The classes will primarily take place in the Sulphur area except for the one day we visit the jail and the 911 center. We will contact you before camp starts to give you the necessary location information.
Registration closes June 7 at 5:00 PM. HOWEVER, if you register after May 22, 2026 at 5:00 PM, you are not guaranteed a T-Shirt as our vendors may not be able to make last-minute adjustments.
